What is the G7 Certification?
The G7 is both a universal definition of the gray scale and a calibration method, which serves to adjust the color in any type of printing technology used.
G7 provides a visual correspondence between the different reproduction systems using one-dimensional curves, allowing to share the appearance between different devices or specifications for printing, when color management is not available.
The G7 Certification is granted to companies specialized in the field of color management, processes and quality control in testing printing equipment.
Companies are certified as capable of analyzing color and aspects related to printing to take corrective actions and put systems and processes under control under a methodology, standard or specification that produces repeatable results.
